Established in 1863 the Tatler’s is a warm favourite of the locals in Queenstown because of its tendency to offer foods made from organic locally sourced produce. Likewise the Captains restaurant, found in the Queenstown Mall, offers outside seating so you can gaze over Lake Wakatipu as you enjoy your meal. Pier 19 is actually on the waterfront (on Steamer Wharf) and they too offer simple food made with fresh and local produce.
The Bunker is a gorgeous intimate little hideaway that is literally hidden down a back alley. There you can enjoy a romantic meal, a cocktail or take advantage of the private dinning room.
