Getting around Queenstown

The town is small and very easy to walk around. There is a “Shopper Bus” that operates from 6.50am to 11pm every day This bus services all the major hotels; airport, Sunshine Bay, Fernhill, Frankton and Remarkables Park Shopping Centre. There is also a good taxi system. Most tour operators will transport you to their activity from central Queenstown.

Parking at peak times can be difficult. It is metered in the city centre. There are several free car parks and some pay and display car parks if you want park for the whole day. These car parks are at Gorge Road, Athol Street, Henry Street, Church Street and Earl Street.
